IU Health Physicians is hiring! We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced and supportive Emergency Medicine team at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, Indiana!
Position Details:
Full-Time
Rotating Schedule; 138.67 hours/month; usually 10 or 12 hour shifts
Weekend and holiday rotation
No call
Team includes 19 physicians and 11 advanced practice providers
Key Responsibilities:
Work independently in different areas of the Emergency Department including the main ED and observation unit.
Provide acute care for all patient types; focused on lower acuity patients with potential collaborative care on higher acuity cases
Perform bedside ER procedures
Qualifications:
FNP or PA certifications required
Emergency Medicine APP experience strongly preferred
Will accept new graduates who have at minimum a clinical rotation in the ED during their program
