Position Summary - Outpatient SettingThe Physical Therapist Assistant is competent in the provision of patient care to either inpatient and/or outpatient populations served. The PTA performs patient care, including therapeutic modalities, exercises, activities, manual therapy interventions, and other treatment skills within the scope of the PTA's education and state regulations, as the primary responsibility. Is able to complete required documentation related to patient care in an accurate and timely manner. Adheres to the productivity standards set for the provision of care within the department. Is able to communicate effectively with patients, family, physicians, and peers. Maintains competency in the skills required for the patient population treated. Assists in administrative duties as necessary. Complies with licensure requirements. Follows policies and procedures of CMC.

Education/Licenses/Certifications 2. Graduate of accredited PTA program.3. Current licensure as PTA in the State of Washington, or eligibility for licensure.
