Position Summary The Rehab Community Relations Liaison is responsible for achieving Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation strategic organizational goals through: Understanding and attracting an appropriate mix of customers (patients/families, referral sources, and payors). Enhancing our customer focus within rehab services and communicating with target populations about such services. Improving customer awareness of, access to, and satisfaction with our services.
Minimum RequirementsMinimum of three years of clinical experience as a member of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team is preferred. Experience as a case manager in an insurance company, hospital or other acute/post acute setting is preferred. Previous experience with development of both print and electronic media preferred. Demonstrated skill in speaking, reading and writing English is required.Computer training and demonstrated skill particularly in word processing and databases is desirable. Able to engage in public speaking, public presentations, and professional publishing. Able to work independently. Able to organize and prioritize the multiple demands of the position.
