Fairview Health Services is searching for enthusiastic ERTs looking for a rewarding career in our busy Emergency Department located at our Edina, Minnesota campus. This is a Night position, 12 hour shifts with every third weekend. Benefit eligible. Shift start times are 7PM.
Our Emergency Department is a 44 bed, Level 3 Trauma Center that treats over 55,000 patients per year. In addition to being a Trauma Center, the Hospital is a Cardiac Center of Excellence and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Team members include Emergency Physicians, Registered Nurses, ER Techs, Health Unit Coordinators, Behavioral Health Professionals, Pharmacists and Case Managers.
The ERTs are responsible for working under the direct supervision of professional nurses and MDs in the delivery of patient care on a faced paced unit.

12 lead EKGs
Patient transport and ambulation
Wound dressing and irrigation
Maintaining patient rooms and stocking supplies
ERT/ED Tech,EMTexperience or ED Scribe experience
Current EMT or ERT Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare provider certification.
Have knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations and hospital procedures
Possess exceptional communication skills such as clear speech, ability to read, legible handwriting and strong computer skills
Previous 1-2 years Emergency Room Technician experience
