Under close and continuous supervision of a California Licensed RN, provides routine bedside care; receives and provides information regarding patient care needs; performs other reasonable related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor. Must work within training outline, which does not include RN licensure (pending NCLEX). Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med-surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long term acute care unit.
Completion of RN Nursing Program with minimum Associates of Science Degree (awaiting NCLEX testing)
Current BLS certificate
ACLS certificate (within 6 months of hire)
Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course (within 90 days of hire)
Successful completion of assigned didactic, online and classroom training (within time frame allowed)
Desired Training/ Education/ Experience
Has excellent observation, good nursing judgement/ critical thinking, and good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with multiple tasks in a team setting utilizing interpersonal organizational and prioritizing skills.
