High quality healthcare, in the High Country. Middle Park Health is a 25-bed critical access hospital, with level IV emergency services at two main facilities, Kremmling and Granby. In addition, the health system has five rural health clinics and one urgent care clinic. The main facility is in Granby and features two operating rooms, outpatient ancillary services and specialty support including general surgery, orthopedics, GI, OB, podiatry, cardiology, urology, and dermatology. Middle Park Health serves the county’s 15,000+ residents as well as over 2 million annual visitors. Middle Park Health employs over 250 staff. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities. Participates in maintaining positive department patient flow. Available for on-call duties as needed. The Technologist will work under the broad supervision of the healthcare providers to assist with general patient care. These duties will include, but are not limited to, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, performing EKG, phlebotomy, CLIA waived lab testing and QA, assistance with splinting and bracing, maintaining organization of clinic functions, answering telephone calls, and other duties as assigned. Requirements: - High school graduate or GED
- Must possess and maintain American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) license
- Maintain current BLS certification (within 60 days from hire)
- One year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Able to adjust schedule as patient flow and activity occur
- Knowledge of computer applications and general clerical functions such as phones, fax, etc
- Available for on-call responsibility as necessary
