Healtheast and Fairview Health Services is looking for an RN at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN. This position is 64 hours per two weeks, 8 hour shifts, on the Day/Evening shift. On call requirements are above the FTE and you are required to work on average one on call shift per week and one weekend on call every fifth weekend (this is an estimate). Start times RANGE from 5:30am to 12:30pm and the shift is 8 hours with a variable schedule. This position is eligible for full benefits .

5 OR Surgery Department, 15-25 cases per day, Patient age:16+
In this role, you will achieve patient and unit outcomes by coordinating the care for a group of patients.

Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes
Demonstrates commitment to the principles of the patient care model (Professional Partnership Model) and utilizes the nursing process to coordinate outcome focused patient care and achieve the HealthEast nursing vision
Understands and incorporates holistic nursing theory based on Watson's theory of caring aligning with the practice standards of the American Holistic Nurses' Association and the HealthEast nursing patient care model (Professional Partnership Model) in order to achieve the HealthEast nursing vision
Communicates effectively with patient/family, physicians, the interdependent team and other disciplines regarding the plan of care
Identifies and documents learning needs of the patient and family and provides individualized education
Actively participates in creating and implementing, improvements at the point of care to achieve clinical quality, patient experience, nursing engagement and efficiency and effectiveness outcomes
Complies with regulatory requirements, patient safety requirements, infection control practices and other established practice standards, policies and procedures
Participates in the development and achievement of unit goals (safety, cost, quality, patient experience, employee engagement)
