Specializes as a clinician with specific expertise in trauma care across the ED and inpatient spectrum. Performs chart audits, develops performance improvement plans, partners with appropriate department clinical educator.
* Provides documentation and maintains the Trauma Base and M Health FairviewTrauma Database. * Responsible for accurate and timely submission of outcomes data. * Provides staff education as appropriate. * Continuously seeks to increase the quality and value of services provided to our customers. * Participates in outreach related to promoting continued education of Trauma injury prevention. * Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards. * Actively participates in creating and implementing performance improvements. * Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned.
Experience: 3-5 years, ED, ICU or orthopedics required. Knowledge/Skills: Strong knowledge of Trauma Registry Data Base. Epic, critical thinking.
